GDX has shed 16.6% in four weeks and is now retesting its June 10 swing low (~$73.63) with Stochastic K at an extreme 5.9 — one of the most oversold readings on record for this ETF. If the $73–74 support zone holds, a mean-reversion bounce toward the $82–85 resistance cluster is the base case; a close below $71.50 invalidates the setup entirely.
