Investment Thesis
SOXX suffered a violent 3-session, 10% flush to below its 50-day MA, yet still holds above the critical 200-day MA ($290). With RSI approaching oversold, put/call at elevated fear levels, and market breadth at historically depressed readings, a mean-reversion bounce back toward the 50-day MA is the highest-probability technical setup.
Catalysts to Watch
SOXX dropped ~10% in just 3 sessions (March 25–30), crashing through the 50-day MA and landing near oversold RSI territory (33), while broad market breadth collapsed to 21% of S&P 500 stocks above their 50-day MAs — a near-extreme washout reading on the year scale.
