META has ripped back into a well-defined resistance shelf (50-day MA / $600 round number / prior swing high) after a sharp August selloff, but it's doing so inside a confirmed death-cross downtrend, with sector relative strength still weak and market breadth deteriorating — a fade of this bounce offers roughly 3.5:1 from the current price.
Catalysts to Watch
META rallied off the mid-August low near $543 on a large-range, high-volume up day (Sep 2, gap to a $600.38 intraday high), stalling and closing at $592.85 — directly on top of the 50-day MA ($592.95), just below the $600 round number and the $609 swing-resistance zone, with Stochastic(14) at 86 (overbought) while price remains below a still-declining 200-day MA ($622.21, death cross intact).
