EEM found support at its rising 50-day MA during the June 5 high-volume flush and has since recovered to $67.88, still holding a golden cross and outperforming SPY on a trend basis. If it reclaims the $70 area, a re-test and eventual break of the $70.80 52-week high opens the door toward $73.
Catalysts to Watch
EEM rebounded from its 50-day moving average ($64.76) after a sharp high-volume selloff on June 5 (volume spiked to 56M vs. ~32M average), while the EEM/SPY relative strength ratio held above its own 200-day MA throughout the turbulence and has since recovered to 0.0915 — confirming the EM outperformance structure remains intact.
