The bear-market bounce in KWEB has failed at a lower high and broken back below its recent support shelf, resuming the primary downtrend that remains intact below a declining 200-day MA — a short from current levels targets a retest of the $25 area with a tight, structure-based stop.
Catalysts to Watch
KWEB rallied ~23% off its June 25 52-week low ($23.63) to an August 10 high of $29.12, then failed and closed back below the $27.77 zone — a level that had acted as a pause/resistance point three times during that rally — on August 12. Price has stayed under that zone for six straight sessions, closing at $26.78 on August 18, still below its declining 200-day MA ($31.21) with the 50/200-day death cross intact.
